Here We Are!

Hello, and welcome to our little corner of something called cyberspace. My name is Heidi, and I'm what the humans call a Chocolate Lab...whatever that means. In the background you can see my sister Chloe. She's what they called a Mini-Poodle. I have another sister, Katie, who's a Terrier Mix. We(and our Dad) moved in with our Aunt(who's typing this for us), in a suburb in Western New York. We've been here a week, and we're getting used to our new surroundings.
We've been checking out our new back yard. Daddy shoveled out a few spots for us so we could do our *ahem* business, and, of course, we've been playing in the snow. It's a good thing the tennis balls I've been chasing are yellow, it makes it easier to see them if they get stuck in the snow.

Of course, we've been making ourselves at home inside the house. We took some time to explore our new surroundings when we arrived. I ran around so much I was pooped!

Right away, Chloe grabbed a toy and started to play. That night, Katie and Chloe took the dog bed on Daddy's floor, while I hopped on the bed.
Here you see Chloe and Katie on the sofa in the family room (or so the humans call it) We spend most of our time here watching tv with the humans and keeping them company. We also will keep our Aunt company when she's on the computer. Chloe likes to watch what's going on outside, especially when one of the humans is outside.


So far, there's only been one "accident" on the rug, and it didn't happen right away. It wasn't me. Aunt Pat wasn't upset. In fact, I think she wishes it would happen again, since I don't think she likes the carpet. The food's been great, and there have been biskee's(dog biscuits) a plenty, and I'm learing something called "stay". I will post regular updates so all of my family and friends can see what we're doing.
