One nice thing about twice daily walkies is that we've been meeting some of our neighbors. We've had several people on the street wave at us when they've been driving. We've seen Tony and his mom and dad from across the street. Tony's mom and Aunt Pat like to chat so we make ourselves comfortable on their lawn. We love to have some snout to snout time with Tony. He's a very sweet young man.
Our neighbor D has been especially nice. She and her family live at the end of the street and we've seen her working in her yard quite a bit. She loves dogs, but her kids have allergies so they can't have any. She's made it a point to come over and pet us. She even gave Aunt Pat some squash from her garden! Aunt Pat gave her some romaine from our garden, too. I've left a gift or two on their lawn as well, but Aunt Pat and Daddy keep picking them up.
